Who we are

Millions of people dream of playing a musical instrument. We develop outstanding products that enable anyone to achieve this dream. Our first product is a revolutionary app to learn piano, which was launched in 2015 and quickly became a global success with millions of users.

Your role

As QA Automation Engineer at flowkey you will play an essential role in shipping and maintaining a high quality product, bringing the joy of music to millions of users around the world.

You have a passion for “breaking” apps, finding edge cases, and investigating user-reported issues. Your expertise lies in transforming those reports into solid and concise failing tests, empowering the team to maintain an outstanding user experience, prevent server downtime, and avoid regressions. You will take responsibility for our testing and continuous deployment environments to enable a smooth, automated, and (ideally) bug-free release schedule.

You will work closely with the engineering team, sharing your experience regarding testable code structures and architectures, enabling the team to write reliable and comprehensive tests in the pursuit of constantly increasing overall test coverage. An essential part of your development at flowkey will involve branching out into new areas (e.g. into mobile if you are most familiar with the Javascript world, or vice-versa) and keeping up to date with best practices.

Over time you will acquire an in-depth understanding of the product and its release processes, becoming an essential part of the team and of flowkey’s continued success.
